Dear Past and Future Conference Attendees,

Each year, NAGPS hosts its signature event: the National Conference. This year the theme is:

Graduate-Professional Student Advocacy and Beyond

Consider the work you do not only in the context of your campus advocacy, but also in terms of how it relates to broader societal problems to solve. Share your ideas and solutions with others. Let’s move the world forward … together.

This year marks the 29th year of this spectacular event including networking opportunities, sharing of best practices, and new features for all graduate students. The past few conferences have drawn more than 165 participants from across the country representing graduate students from all types of universities and colleges.

The University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, California is our gracious host for this year’s conference which starts the evening of October 29th through the morning of November 1st. Be prepared for an excellent conference, state-of-the-art venue, delicious food, and a great location on USC’s campus.

We sincerely hope you’ll consider joining us for this outstanding event. You’ll find all of the details you need on this website; however, if you do have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at vice-president@nagps.org. We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!

Zachary Brooks, NAGPS Vice President

*Attire: For the Friday and Saturday sessions, most people wear professional attire. Men generally wear suits and ties, and woman generally wear suit and tie equivalents. During the evenings, anything goes. We will be in Los Angeles where the art of understated, yet perfect style is hard to decipher. Since we will be in Los Angeles during Halloween celebrations, why not bring a costume? Don’t have a costume? NAGPS’ got you covered. We’ll provide masks.
