Dear Past and Future Conference Attendees,

Each year, NAGPS hosts its signature event: the National Conference. This year marks the 28th year of this spectacular event including networking, sharing of best practices, and new features for all graduate students. The past few conferences have drawn more than 165 participants from across the country representing graduate students at all types of universities and colleges.

The University of Missouri in Columbia, MO is our gracious host this year from November 6th through 9th. Be prepared for an excellent conference, state-of-the-art venue, delicious food, and an all around great location.

Conference Registration Fee

Registration (Now – 10/19/2014)

  • Member – $100 per participant
  • Non-Member – $110 per participant
  • Member (group of 4+) – $90 per participant
  • Non-Member (group of 4+) – $100 per participant

Late Registration (10/20/2014 – 11/6/2014)

  • Member – $ 140 per participant
  • Non Member – $ 150 per participant

  • MOX (http://moexpress.com/moxolrs/) is a shuttle service that is available at about $90 round trip per person. Therefore, it is likely beneficial to look into rental car options with two or more people.
  • Rental Cars: Hertz 

If arriving at Kansas City International (MCI)

  • Airline: Air Canada, Air Tran, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, United, US Airways

Research Abstracts

The National Conference program consists of business meetings and sessions on topics of interest to graduate students. All attending member institutions should submit to present a session at the National Conference on an area of their choosing. Additionally, graduate students can submit abstracts to present in the Ignite sessions.

2015 Board Elections

NAGPS board members are elected by NAGPS members at the National Conference each year. Candidates can be nominated by others or self-nominated. For more information about the positions, election timeline, and submission form, go here.

The National Conference is hosted each year by a different NAGPS member institution that aids in the planning and execution of the event. It brings graduate student leaders from all over the country to new campuses and allows for members to highlight practices at their institutions.
