A brand new element to the conference this year are the poster sessions. We invite you to submit below to present a poster of your research. Posters will be set up on Friday November 7th, 2013. There will be a 1 hour period where presenters will be asked to stand near their posters to answer questions. Posters will then be open for viewers during the remainder of the event. Presenters should then remove their posters on Saturday afternoon.
Poster submissions should be completed by: September 1, 2013
Acceptances for submissions will be on a rolling basis beginning September 1, 2013.
NAGPS Poster Session Guidelines
Definition:[list type=”circle_list”]
- Graphic and text presentation of an author’s research. The author’s research is presented orally and visually. The author’s findings are illustrated with photos, diagrams, and with a small amount of text on a 2 x 3 foot or a 4 x 8 foot poster board followed by a 3-5 minute oral presentation.[/list]

- Title (Placed at the top of the board at 48 point font size)
- Author’s name(s)
- Author’s affiliation
- Abstract (no more than 300 words)
- Introduction
- Findings
- Conclusion
- Selected References
- Graphics/Photos/diagrams (should be relevant & should further explain text information)[/list]

- Posters should not be an entire copy and paste research-based or informative paper
- Shouldn’t exceed poster size limit
- Shouldn’t contain too much text information
- Shouldn’t contain irrelevant information
- Should avoid fancy/italicized/all-caps texts
- Should avoid irrelevant or excessive graphics[/list]
