Purdue is thrilled to host this year’s Midwest Regional Conference. The conference will be held at Purdue’s main campus (West Lafayette, IN) on 3-5 April 2020. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow graduate student leaders from the Midwest region, and Purdue Campuses specifically, to discuss best practices in student governance.
The theme of this year’s conference will be “Deepening Diversity”. The conference is designed to deepen our understanding of diversity by highlighting pedagogy, experiential knowledge and innovative practices that encourage leaders and organizations to build vibrant, diverse and inclusive environments. The conference includes interactive presentations, talks, and workshops offered by leaders and organizations across the region.
You are encouraged to submit an abstract to present on organizational and nonprofit leadership techniques. If you or your graduate government has an effective and innovative programs/service you offer, advocacy initiative you would like to share, or to present on a problem your government is facing; consider applying to be a presenter!
The deadline to submit an abstract is March 15th at 11:59 pm EST. Submit your abstract here.
We hope you are excited about attending the conference as much as we are excited in hosting this conference. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
