Madhan Kumar Arulanandam

Madhan is a Ph.D. student at Arizona State University (ASU) specializing in photovoltaic cells. He’s currently working on grid-level energy storage applications based on NREL, CO. He served as an assembly member in the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) representing Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, ASU from 2017 - 2019. He represented the graduate students twice in the U.S. Capitol hill, D.C. through Legislative Action Days (LAD) mobilized by ASU-GPSA and NAGPS. International graduate student advocacy, DACA, student visa, OPT, and scams targeting international students are some of the important causes he cares about. His general interests include science, music, politics, and adventure. One fun fact is that he likes to Tango.
