2015 NAGPS Western Regional Conference

Join us for the Western Regional Conference at the University of Arizona, Graduate Professional Student Council (GPSC) on April 10-12, 2015.
The NAGPS Western Regional Conference is an excellent opportunity to network with other graduate and professional student leaders in your region, develop a strategic plan for your organization, and gain valuable leadership skills. Most importantly, the Western Regional Conference focuses on higher education issues specific to our region and provides a forum to share successful advocacy strategies at the university, local and state level.

- For almost every region in the west there is a direct flight to Tucson. We encourage everyone to fly to Tucson directly as we can provide transportation to and from the airport, but not between Tucson and Phoenix. Generally, to fly into Phoenix you would want to save at least $100 and 2 hours.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
- If you decide to fly to Phoenix, it is about a 2-hour drive to Tucson. Here are some approximate pricing as of February 10, 2015.
- Rental car: A 2-day rental would cost $60 ($30 per day) plus insurance and taxes. You would likely end up paying ~ $90 for 2-days + fuel which would run between $30-40.
- Shuttle: Arizona Shuttle goes from the Phoenix Airport to the campus for $82 ($41 each way).

The Western Regional Conference is an occasion to perform some of the important business of NAGPS, including updates to our governing documents and the election of our leadership.
