Paulina Alatriste Gonzalez
Midwest Regional Chair
Paulina Alatriste González is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Kentucky. Originally from Mexico City, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Genomic Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her current research focuses on plant virus-host interactions. At the beginning of 2019, she was working for NAGPS as the Midwest Regional Conference Chair and became National Conference Director as well, hosting the 2019 NAGPS National Conference at the University of Kentucky early November. She is currently NAGPS Midwest Regional Director for the 2019-2020 term. When Paulina is not working in the lab you can probably find her cooking Mexican dishes or volunteering at the Lexington Habitat for Humanity Restore.
