Partnership with FWD.US

Project Info

NAGPS has partnered with FWD.US – a non-profit group founded by tech CEOs including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft’s Bill Gates – to provide our student members with resources to show their support for comprehensive immigration reform.  We hope to partner with them on similar campaigns in the future related to education and research funding.

The Senate bill proposes to increase the number of green cards and visas available for international students with advanced degrees from the United States. These are students who we have invested in and collectively contribute more than $22 billion to the U.S. economy!  At the same time, the bill will extend a pathway to citizenship for DREAM Act eligible students-brought here by their parents at an early age who are now pursuing tertiary degrees.
